Power & Telephone Supply Company in Piperton, TN is seeking an entry-level Sales Support professional to assist Account Managers with customer needs and handle orders and quotes. This on-site, full-time role supports on-time delivery and open order reporting, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel and Word skills, solid organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities, and a high school diploma or GED. Training provided and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position with on-site duties.
• Pro-active communication with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Supports Account Managers with customer needs.
• Enters customer orders and quotes as needed.
• Works OTD (On Time Delivery) Exceptions assigned to Sales Support.
• Works Open Order Reports, internal and/or external, as needed.
• Processes Customer Support cases.
• Prepares and assigns cases to quality for corrective action and/or analysis.
• Prepares and submits Rebate Set-Up Requests.
• Prepares and submits Item Set-Up Requests.
• Works with AR to reconcile outstanding invoices, as appropriate for select accounts.
• Proactively communicates with suppliers to obtain the most accurate ship dates and tracking information.
• Reviews supplier acknowledgements to ensure pricing, quantities, shipping locations, and items ordered are correct.
• Coordinates with suppliers, purchasing and accounting to resolve invoice/shipment discrepancies, creating expedite cases as needed.
• Identifies process improvements to increase efficiency or customer satisfaction.
• Other tasks as assigned.
