Job summary

Power & Tel is seeking an entry-level Sales Support professional in Collierville, TN to assist Account Managers with customer needs, enter orders and quotes, and help ensure on-time delivery by tracking shipments and coordinating with suppliers.

You will process customer support cases, prepare item and rebate setup requests, work with accounts receivable to reconcile invoices, and look for ways to improve processes to boost accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level position; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supports Account Managers with customer needs.
• Enters customer orders and quotes.
• Works OTD (On Time Delivery) Exceptions assigned to Sales Support.
• Works Open Order Reports, internal and/or external, as needed.
• Processes Customer Support cases.
• Prepares and assigns cases to quality for corrective action and/or analysis.
• Prepares and submits Item Set-Up Requests.
• Works with AR to reconcile outstanding invoices for select accounts.
• Proactively communicates with suppliers to obtain accurate ship dates and tracking information.
• Reviews supplier acknowledgements for pricing, quantities, shipping locations, and items ordered.
• Coordinates with suppliers, purchasing and accounting to resolve invoice or shipment discrepancies; creates expedite cases for corrective action.
• Identifies process improvements to increase efficiency or improve customer satisfaction.
• Other tasks as assigned.
