Sales Specialist Northeast

Reporting To: Sales Manager, West Region

Your Role and Responsibilities
  1. Drive the Regional Instrumentation business by promoting the value of ABB measurement and control solutions to End Users.
  2. Consult with End Users to define project goals, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of ABB solutions.
  3. Achieve high customer satisfaction and continuously improve segment performance.
  4. Work remotely (must be in Pittsburgh or Allentown).
  5. Contribute to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in the Northeast region.
  6. Create, plan, and implement sales strategies for the Oil and Gas market in the Northeast.
  7. Meet order intake, margin, and other objectives for the instrumentation product portfolio.
  8. Develop relationships with key stakeholders and analyze customer feedback to enhance satisfaction.
  9. Develop and review sales processes, tools, and training programs.
  10. Join a dynamic, high-performing team where you can thrive.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in technology preferred; 6 years of instrumentation sales experience through direct or indirect channels.
  • Strong time, activity, and priority management skills.
  • Existing relationships in automation and measurement industries to generate new opportunities.
  • Ability to develop structured sales strategies that improve efficiency.
  • Deep competitor knowledge and a passion for selling.
  • Resilience to overcome rejection.
  • Focus on understanding end users’ needs, goals, and buying behaviors.
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology, and markets.
