Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, discuss project needs and help transform ideas into completed improvements. You will become the product expert, explaining specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Windows, depending on hiring needs. You will help customers with questions, provide estimates, and coordinate installations, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education is not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders and follow up for completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for merchandise and stock replacement.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing docs.
• Support checkout functions, call buttons, and department pages.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
