Job Description

The Sales Specialist will work closely with key leadership partners at our communities. This role involves temporarily facilitating primary sales activities in communities without a permanent on-site Sales Director and mentoring underperforming Sales Directors to help drive revenue and increase market penetration across North America. The successful candidate will collaborate with corporate and local teams to develop new relationships, pricing strategies, and sales campaigns.

This position is remote-based.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with facility-based teams to maximize revenue and meet both short- and long-term corporate objectives for designated communities.
  • Establish and maintain a community presence by traveling to and working from the community as needed. Interim assignments may vary in duration from several weeks to six months.
  • Develop pricing strategies and sales campaigns in partnership with community leadership and corporate teams.
  • Increase occupancy rates and revenue within communities.
  • Implement sales activities proactively to meet and exceed community goals.
  • Set and enforce sales targets for lead development, conversion rates, and occupancy.
  • Work with marketing teams to enhance electronic presence and utilize digital media to grow revenue.
  • Meet with prospective residents and their families to assess needs and provide suitable senior living options, including home visits when appropriate.
  • Ensure sales activities align with community goals and adhere to company standards, promoting the company's mission.
  • Review and oversee implementation of community-specific action plans, analyze competitive data, and communicate needs for improvement to regional teams.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • High school diploma required; college credits or degree preferred.
  • Availability to travel 75%-100%, with work schedules potentially including 10 consecutive days followed by four days off.
  • Proficiency with PC-based software, including CRM systems like Yardi, and familiarity with presentation and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to recognize and address problems effectively.
  • Ability to relate well to residents, families, staff, and professionals.
  • Capability to teach and train others.
  • Flexibility to travel and work from various communities as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet job demands.
