Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Meet sales goals for overall route growth to enhance profitability.
Prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, and meeting sales quotas.
Procurement of additional new business.
Safely operate a company van in designated areas to provide products and services to clients. Verify daily preventive maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Review invoices daily for completeness and accuracy, making corrections as needed.
Develop leads/prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
Understand services, policies, and pricing methods; clearly explain them to customers.
Monitor customer feedback and handle issues promptly and courteously.
Prioritize personal safety and the safety of others by following safe work practices, using proper tools and equipment, and adhering to safety policies.
Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the above activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have an excellent driving record.
Experience in sales and customer service with frequent customer contact.
Strong math and basic computer skills.
Experience selling services/products and generating new business is preferred.
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and quickly resolve customer concerns.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to adverse weather conditions, which may include extreme hot or cold temperatures depending on location. Fast-paced environment with irregular and long hours.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to routinely lift and maneuver at least 25 lbs., load/unload products from trucks without assistance, and occasionally lift over 50 lbs. Bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching are required.
