Position Details

We are hiring a Sales and Service Representative to join our Hamilton Crossings, Allentown PA team. The role involves developing and maintaining personal banking relationships with new and existing customers, providing quality customer service, guiding customers to purchase bank products that meet their needs, and using each interaction as an opportunity to introduce additional products and services. The incumbent will also serve customers from the teller line by completing various financial transactions following operational guidelines. The time spent on these responsibilities varies based on branch needs.

Branch Hours

• Monday-Wednesday: 8 am - 4 pm
• Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm
• Friday: 8 am - 6 pm
• Saturday: 9 am - 1 pm (2-3 Saturdays per month required)

Position Includes

• Providing friendly, courteous, professional customer service
• Performing teller and platform transactions accurately and efficiently
• Adhering to all operational and customer service procedures
• Operating required technology and software, including computers, cash recyclers, iPads, ATMs, etc.
• Identifying customer needs and cross-selling opportunities to develop new business
• Engaging in outbound calling to customers
• Developing knowledge of Univest products and services
• Leveraging bank promotions
• Following sales flow guidelines
• Learning and becoming proficient in daily operational procedures
• Participating in branch activities, development, and training programs
• Completing notary training if designated as a notary
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the Univest Code of Conduct
• Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Experience in retail sales or telemarketing with proven sales results
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Neat, professional appearance following dress guidelines
• Completion of SSR, Consumer Loans, Teller training, and Univest University’s “Pre-Supervisor” Certificate Program within 12 months of hire

Wage Range

Starting at $22.00/hr
