Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support strategic sales initiatives across the assigned region, collaborating with the Sales Team. You will execute the SmartStock program, ensure policy compliance, and provide merchandising and sales support.

Build strong customer relationships within the sales region and assist the team with customer needs and concerns. Your professionalism and execution will drive business forward for customers, vendors, and Core-Mark.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.
