Job summary

CE Reeve - A Tecta America Company is seeking a Service Sales Estimator in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves selling to new and existing clients, scheduling sales appointments, and estimating roofing service needs through site inspections to prepare proposals, pricing and scope of work.

The Sales Estimator will prepare written proposals and reports, generate estimates from drawings and field notes, and report to the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing sales or 10+ years field experience.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project preferred.
• Previous estimating experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.

Position Summary

The Sales Estimator will sell to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments via generated leads. This position will estimate the roofing service needs of clients; by site inspection, to produce a scope of work, pricing for materials and labor and a written proposal. This position will report to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies.
• Establish rapport and developing long-term business relationships with clients.
• Make sales presentations and partner with clients to establish their needs.
• Present clients with the most appropriate solutions.
• Create proposals and reports for clients or generate estimates from blueprint drawings, specifications, field notes, drawings, and inspections depending on client needs.
• Submit all contacts and documentation in a timely manner; maintain sales call logs.
• Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to ensure that their expectations are being met and to get referrals.
