Job summary

SLB is seeking a Valves Sales Representative to build strong relationships with assigned customers and promote BL products and services. You will plan calls, manage accounts, and drive revenue by leveraging product knowledge and SAP-supported workflows.

The role requires 10+ years in oil and gas, familiarity with Cameron SLB products, and the ability to identify opportunities, maintain pipelines, and coordinate sales plans across teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of oil and gas industry experience with a focus on valves or related equipment.
  • Experience with Cameron SLB products and processes is highly preferred.
  • Proven SAP experience in an oil and gas manufacturing or service environment.
  • Technical knowledge of valve technology and related products is required.
  • Field Service Technician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan client calls and perform regular visits to ensure call coverage for assigned accounts.
  • Respond to customer problems arising from sales and manage them appropriately.
  • Maintain account data in C4C, including profiling, org charts and visit reports.
  • Create and execute an approved sales plan for assigned accounts.
  • Capture customer activity and competitor information (GAC) for the accounts.
  • Identify and qualify all sales leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline in C4C.
  • Collaborate with management to develop sales goals and coordinated plans.
  • Monitor price structure and recommend changes and price adjustments.
  • Attend training to stay updated on key technologies and competitors.
  • Provide receivables support and contribute to multi-BL activities.

Job description

The Valves Sales Representative is responsible for establishing and building relationships with assigned customers. The Valves Sales Representative promotes the sale of BL products and services to assigned accounts, and optimizes sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans. This person grows market share and revenue with assigned accounts.

  • Plan client calls and makes regular client visits to ensure appropriate call coverage of assigned accounts.
  • Ensure customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.
  • Maintain C4C for accounts, including customer profiling, organizational chart, visit reports, and customer drivers.
  • Create and action an approved sales plan for assigned account(s).
  • Capture customer BL and all local and international competitor activity (GAC).
  • Identify and qualify all sales leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline in C4C.
  • Work with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plans for promoting existing services and products and introducing new services and products.
  • Monitor price structure and pricing levels and recommend necessary changes and price increases.
  • Attend training courses to maintain knowledge of key technologies and competitor offerings and practices.
  • Provide support for receivables management.
  • Contribute to multi-BL activities.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on valves, pressure control equipment, or new equipment manufacturing, servicing, or operations. Experience with Cameron SLB products and processes is highly preferred
  • Proven experience utilizing SAP in an oil and gas manufacturing or service environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding valve new product and related technologies. Previous Field Service Technician experience is preferred.
