Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Sales Representative (Joint Replacement) to promote and sell our Orthopedic Joint Replacement services. You will drive revenue by expanding existing accounts and winning new business while supporting surgical teams in the operating room.

You will build trusted partnerships, demonstrate product value, and provide training to clinicians. This role involves evenings, weekends, and travel as needed and offers a 100% commission structure with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4 years’ experience in a clinical healthcare/sales role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
• Knowledge of and experience with sales techniques, marketing strategies, product demonstrations and sales control systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts by delivering excellent service and building trusted partnerships.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders and customers, respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve challenges.
• Confidently conduct product evaluations in the operating room and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products.
• Provide comprehensive Stryker product knowledge and training to surgeons, nurses and OR staff.
• Meticulously manage and maintain sample inventory of products and adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed).
• Participate in and represent Stryker at industry events and conferences as required.
• On-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as determined by territory needs, to address urgent technical needs and ensure continuous customer support.

Sales Representative (Joint Replacement)

As a Sales Representative, you will strategically promote and sell Stryker’s Orthopedic Joint Replacement service line products to meet our customers' needs. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth, develop customer relationships, and support surgical teams in the operating room (OR). You thrive in a high-performance environment and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

What you need

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or minimum 4 years’ experience in a clinical healthcare/sales role (or a combination of the two)
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals
• Knowledge of and experience with sales techniques, marketing strategies, product demonstrations and sales control systems

Preferred:

• Minimum 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
• Medical device sales experience.
• Experience with Joint Replacement products, procedures, and customer accounts strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting hip, knee, robotic-assisted, or revision Joint Replacement procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the orthopedic Joint Replacement market preferred.
• Experience working in a clinical, surgical, or hospital environment.
• Experience supporting orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Experience with orthopedic implant technologies.

Additional information

• This position requires the handling of instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids. In compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, Stryker will provide a safe working environment for all employees.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Fluency in written and spoken English required

This role is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses + benefits.
