Job summary

Metrohm USA, the North American division of Metrohm AG, is seeking an Ion Chromatography Sales Representative to lead and grow our customer base in the northern portion of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas, ideally based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area.

Regular travel throughout the assigned region is required. You will develop and manage your own IC sales territory, drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and cultivate strong customer relationships across pharma,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably to analytical laboratories.
• Hands-on knowledge or sales experience with IC equipment.
• Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman) is a plus.
• Industry knowledge in pharma, chemicals, polymers, cosmetics, or related fields.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships in pharma, chemicals, polymers, petrochemicals, personal care and food/beverage.

• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to both technical and executive audiences.
• Identify ways to streamline the sales process and maximize revenue.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent growth.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Earnings Potential

The posted salary range reflects base salary only. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for commission opportunities, providing additional earning potential. Your base salary will be determined based on your experience, capabilities, and the value you bring to the team.

Territory & Location

This position is responsible for supporting customers throughout the northern portion of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Regular travel throughout the assigned region is required. Ideally, candidates will be in the Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX area.

Additional Requirements
