Job summary

Metrohm USA is seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to support customers in Florida and portions of southern Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be based in the Tampa Bay area, with travel across a multi-state territory and on-site or remote customer support.

You will install, calibrate, and service benchtop IC systems, train customers, and collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure a seamless experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or closely related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the region.

• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Partner with Process Analytics teams to support IC instruments in advanced process systems.
• Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
• Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams for a seamless customer experience.

We’re currently seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography (IC) expertise to serve customers across Florida and portions of southern Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be based in the Tampa Bay area.

The territory includes a mix of urban and rural markets, offering opportunities to engage with a diverse customer base. Candidates should be comfortable managing travel across multiple states and adapting to varying client needs and environments.

What You Bring

Earnings Potential

The posted salary range represents base pay only. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for quarterly bonus opportunities. Your base salary offer will reflect your experience, capabilities, and the value you bring to the team.
