Job summary

North American Slate is seeking a Sales Representative for Exterior Building Products in the Southeast. This full-time role is based in Georgia with remote work options and US-wide duties.

The compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, with bonus potential based on sales targets. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new customers, meeting contractors and architects, managing the full sales lifecycle, and providing forecasting reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience preferable in a related field.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Willingness to travel, face-to-face sales, up to 50%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Provide regular reporting to leadership on sales and project oversight.
• Forecast and monitor pipeline to reach sales targets.
• Manage leads in territory, share information and samples, coordinate logistics.
• Estimate, quote and analyze costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Maintain ongoing account management including post-sale follow-up.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.
