North American Slate is seeking a Building Sales Representative for the Southeast region to identify and cultivate new customers, build lasting partnerships, and manage the full sales lifecycle. The role requires extensive travel, likely up to 50% of the time, across GA, NC, SC, VA, and TN, with local candidates preferred.

The base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually and includes bonus potential based on sales targets, plus benefits such as Medical and Dental coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.

Local candidates in these states preferred.
