Job summary

North American Slate is seeking a Regional Sales Representative for slate roofing in the Southeast. The role covers GA, NC, SC, VA and TN, requiring extensive travel. You will identify customers, build partnerships, negotiate terms and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Expect a base salary of $65,000–$75,000 with bonus remuneration based on sales targets, plus medical and dental benefits. Local candidates in the Southeast preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.
