Job summary

North American Slate is seeking a Regional Sales Representative for the Southeast to expand our slate product footprint across GA, NC, SC, VA and TN. This full-time role requires a motivated sales professional with drive, creativity and a proven track record in building lasting customer partnerships.

You will prospect and meet contractors, suppliers and architects, negotiate terms, manage the sales lifecycle from prospecting to close, and provide regular reporting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Provide regular sales forecasting and pipeline oversight.
• Travel across GA, NC, SC, VA, TN to develop accounts.
• Quote, cost analysis, and competitive selling of slate products.
• Lead generation, product presentations, and post-sale account management.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.

Local candidates in these states preferred.

What we provide:

• $65,000 to $75,000 highly competitive base salary coupled with bonus remuneration based upon sales target achievement.
