Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, seeks a driven sales representative to secure new customers and manage full sales cycles. The role requires extensive travel (often exceeding 50%) across GA, NC, SC, VA and TN, with local candidates preferred.

We offer a base salary of 65,000 to 75,000 USD plus bonus upon sales target achievement, plus travel reimbursement and medical benefits. Join a growing team focused on premium slate products for design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and prospecting new customers and building lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects and negotiating pricing/terms.
• Managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing regular reporting to leadership on sales and project status.
• Forecasting and monitoring pipeline to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads, sending information/samples, and coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Account management including lead generation, presentation, negotiation, closing, and post-sale support.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.

Local candidates in these states preferred.
