Sales Representative - County Materials Masonry Division (Project Management)

County Materials Corporation is a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build the communities where Americans live, work, and play.

We are seeking a Sales Representative for our customer, County Materials, in our Masonry division. This is a remote position for the state of Minnesota, with a sales focus in Twin Cities and Rochester, MN.

Job Duties:
  1. Maintaining effective relationships with current customers to increase sales and revenue.
  2. Working with local, regional, and national promotional efforts within masonry and paving.
  3. Identifying and prospecting for new customers and documenting for CRM.
  4. Working closely with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies and specifications.
  5. Analyzing market trends and developing action plans to capitalize on market shifts.
  6. Preparing sales projects and prospecting activity reports for monthly meetings.
Work Environment:

Work in an office environment as well as construction sites in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to handle samples and products weighing up to 50 lbs.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of masonry industry work experience, training, and education required.
  • Experience with masonry product lines.
  • Thorough understanding of ASTM specifications preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • High sales aptitude, self-motivated.
  • Ability to analyze situations and identify opportunities for success.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
