Position Title: Sales Representative – Corrugated Packaging
This is a high-impact opportunity to join a top-performing operation at a time when the business is intentionally investing in growth. The Sales Representative will step into a lean, high-visibility sales organization supporting award-winning manufacturing assets and will be trusted to build meaningful, profitable customer relationships rather than simply inherit volume. Success in this role comes from disciplined hunting, resilience, and a true desire to earn long-term upside. The individual who succeeds here will directly influence plant performance, market penetration, and the organization’s continued reputation for exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for a hungry seller who wants to build something durable inside a platform that rewards effort, credibility, and results.
The organization is one of the largest and most respected producers of containerboard and corrugated packaging in North America, with an integrated network of mills, sheet plants, and box plants across the United States. The business is widely known for its customer-first culture, operational reliability, and willingness to invest in people and assets. Unlike competitors that operate through rigid silos, the company empowers its sales teams to leverage the entire network in service of customer needs. Decisions—from capital investments to scheduling priorities—are made with the customer at the center, creating trust, speed, and long-term partnerships in the marketplace.
The position reports to a seasoned sales leader who has recently taken responsibility for a Plant of the Year–winning operation. Leadership is hands-on, performance-driven, and deeply invested in developing sales talent. Expectations are high, but support is real—salespeople who demonstrate effort, integrity, and results are given increasing opportunity, resources, and autonomy. The leadership philosophy is clear: help those who are helping themselves.
The Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business and growing profitable relationships across a defined but flexible geography. While the role may include a small starter book of business, it is fundamentally a growth role built on prospecting, competitive displacement, and long-term relationship development. The salesperson will represent multiple plant capabilities while also having access to the broader manufacturing network. This is not an account maintenance role; it is an opportunity to earn trust, volume, and internal support through consistent performance.
