Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a high-energy Sales Representative to grow our corrugated packaging business in the Lewisburg/Cincinnati area. You will focus on prospecting, relationship development, and value-based selling, working with manufacturing, customer service, and quality teams to service accounts.

Ideal candidates have outside selling experience or a related degree, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to cover territory.

Qualifications

• Outside selling experience or related experience or a college degree.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record.
• Able to load and unload samples from vehicle.
• College degree preferred in graphics, packaging, sales or business.

Responsibilities

• Keep updated and accurate list of prospects and accounts.
• Analyze and qualify prospective accounts.
• Conduct initial contact and sales calls to accounts, building relationships for first time and repeat business.
• Surpass sales quota commitments for the area.
• Implement sales strategies.
• Create and maintain customer and prospective relationships.
• Manage and close new sales.
• Price and prepare value proposals.
• Manage working capital and improve cash flow.
• Work closely with plant management and fellow sales associates.
• Travel as necessary to cover territory and fulfill responsibilities.
• Stay current on competitive activity in the area.

As a Sales Representative, you will focus heavily on prospecting, relationship development, and value-based selling, working closely with manufacturing, customer service, and quality teams to sell and service our corrugated packaging products.

Responsibilities Related To GROWTH Include

• Keeping an updated and accurate list of prospects and accounts
• Analyzing and qualifying prospective accounts
• Conducting initial contact and subsequent sales calls to accounts, selling and establishing relationships necessary to produce first time and repeat business
• Surpassing sales quota commitments for your area of responsibility

Responsibilities Related To ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT Include

• Implementing sales strategies
• Creating and maintaining customer and prospective relationships

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
