Job summary

Amanda Verde - State Farm Agency in Kaufman, TX seeks a Sales Representative for full-time or part-time status. Training will be provided; insurance experience is not required. Base pay $17–$22 per hour plus commission, with paid time off and growth opportunities.

You will build client relationships, present quotes, and pursue new business in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include networking, prompt client support, and a strong daily work ethic.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty license.
• Must be able to obtain Life & Health license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and close sales
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Develop ongoing networking relationships
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
• Develop new service opportunities with both existing and new clients
• Base pay minimum $17 - $22 per hour, plus Commission
• Paid Time Off - for personal time and vacation
• Outstanding preparation if you aspire to be a State Farm agent in the future

Requirements:

• Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• 1-2 Years of Sales Experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated successful track record of meeting sales goals and quotas required
• Enthusiasm and belief about the role insurance and financial products play in people’s lives
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
• Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start
