Job summary

QBS Controls is seeking an experienced Sales Professional for HVAC controls in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area. You will generate opportunities, build strong relationships with contractors and owners, and develop proposals based on project plans.

This full-time role offers $80,000–$110,000 per year, with growth potential as the company expands in the market. A strong track record in HVAC controls sales and technical fluency with DDC/BAS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales in HVAC controls or building automation.
• Technical knowledge of DDC, BAS and commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and prepare estimates.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Generate new opportunities for HVAC controls installation, retrofit, and service projects.
• Build relationships with mechanical and general contractors, engineers, facility managers and owners.
• Review plans and specs to develop accurate estimates and proposals.
• Present customized building automation solutions meeting customer needs.
• Negotiate and secure new projects, service agreements, and long-term relationships.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts.
• Collaborate with operations for smooth project award to execution.

Compensation: $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time

Primary Responsibilities

• Generate new opportunities for HVAC controls installation, retrofit, and service projects
• Build strong relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers, and building owners
• Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate estimates and proposals
• Present customized building automation solutions that meet customer needs
• Negotiate and secure new projects, service agreements, and long-term customer relationships
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts
• Collaborate with our operations team to ensure a seamless transition from project award through execution

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of sales experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or commercial HVAC
• Technical knowledge of DDC, BAS, and commercial HVAC systems
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications while preparing project estimates
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver's license

Candidates will be required to pass a drug screening & background check upon being given a conditional offer of employment.

Salary: $80000.00 - $110000.00 per year
