Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring for a sales-driven role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and leveraging the Design program to boost sales. Training pay is $16 per hour for 2‑6 weeks, with base pay varying by location.

After training, average earnings range from $55,000 to $75,000+ including base, bonus, and commissions. Post-training pay includes a base rate of $12 per hour plus uncapped commissions (3% on Design Sales, 2% on other sales) and a quarterly bonus opportunity of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture and accessories.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet sales goals.
• Follow the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to create a great customer experience.
• Build long‑term customer relationships and handle inquiries promptly.
• Schedule deliveries and maintain accurate orders and records.
