Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Sales Performance Manager in the United States to coach counter sales staff and boost revenue across locations. You will act as a servant leader, partner with Operations, and develop training materials and programs to enhance sales performance.

The role requires supervisory experience and a minimum of 2 years in sales/training, with travel up to 50%. A vehicle is provided for work-related use, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 1+ year supervisory experience OR Associate's Degree plus 2+ years supervisory experience OR High School diploma plus 4+ years supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive Sales experience in a counter sales environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience executing training initiatives and coaching and mentoring sales professionals.
• Must have valid driving license and be willing to travel between locations (about 50%).
• Strong customer service and sales concepts; effective communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Act as an internal sales expert and partner with Operations leadership to assess, measure and enhance revenue generation activities for counter sales.
• Partner with local managers to identify and analyze revenue opportunities for products/services to meet business goals.
• Monitor the sales agents overall effectiveness throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate communications related to counter sales initiatives, products and processes.
• Assess and analyze business needs with recommendations on training plans and programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Facilitate local sales training programs and stay updated on new training methods.
