Job summary

Community Phone is seeking a Sales Manager to keep the sales floor sharp and driven. You will translate data into actionable coaching, distinguish between reps needing coaching and those needing replacement, and uphold a culture of accountability and customer focus.

In this role you’ll run structured coaching, diagnose performance gaps across the funnel, manage improvement plans, and lead a high-velocity team toward higher close rates and faster deal velocity while maintaining fairness and clear

Qualifications

• Experience coaching sales reps and driving performance.
• Ability to identify coaching needs vs replacements.
• Strong proficiency with data to inform coaching decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coach Reps to Actually Get Better: Run structured 1:1s and small-group coaching focused on close rate, deal velocity, and conversation quality.
• Diagnose and Quantify Performance Gaps: Break down performance across the funnel and pinpoint leaks.
• Own the Performance Pipeline: Diagnose → coaching → PIP → replacement, maintain a roster of improving/stable/at-risk reps.
• Drive Motivation and Customer First Culture: Foster a culture of accountability and customer-first behavior.
