Job summary

The Jankovich Company, a Southern California petroleum and lubricants distributor, is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to provide administrative, systems, and operational support to the Sales Department. You will work with ERP and other business systems to maintain customer, product, pricing, inventory, and sales information, and assist with quotes, onboarding, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in sales support or operations.
• Experience with an ERP or integrated business system.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to organize, analyze, and present information.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with cross-department collaboration.
• Ability to independently research issues and follow through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to Sales Representatives and the Director of Sales.
• Assist with customer onboarding and account setup by gathering required information.
• Use ERP and other systems to research and maintain customer, product, pricing, inventory, and sales data.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports on customer sales, pricing, product performance, margins, and volume.
• Assist with quotes, proposals, customer agreements, pricing docs, product info, and account reviews.
• Research questions and issues and coordinate with Sales, Accounting, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve them.
• Cross-train on ERP processes to provide backup support and maintain continuity.
• Assist with customer programs, bids, vendor requirements, and department projects.
