Job summary

Victaulic seeks a Project Coordinator to support the Project Execution Manager across Western Canada. You’ll help plan, coordinate, and execute construction-related projects, maintain schedules, and track deliverables while liaising with internal teams, customers, and contractors.

You will contribute to project reporting, participate in site visits, and assist in improving project management practices. A clear path toward a Project Execution Manager role is provided.

This role is ideal for a highly organized individual who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring project details are tracked effectively from project award through completion. You'll play a key role in maintaining project schedules, monitoring deliverables, supporting customer communication, and ensuring project documentation remains accurate and up to date, working collaboratively with internal teams, customers, contractors, and external stakeholders. This role also offers a clear development pathway toward a future Project Execution Manager position within Victaulic.**WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN*** Support the Project Execution Manager with day-to-day coordination of active projects.* Assist in the development project execution plans* Assist in maintaining project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action item trackers.* Coordinate project documentation, meeting minutes, project correspondence, and filing systems.* Track project progress and assist with the preparation of project status reports and dashboards.* Schedule and coordinate internal project meetings, customer meetings, and project reviews.* Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support project planning & execution activities.* Assist in monitoring project schedule, budgets, and resource requirements.* Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitments and deliverables are completed on schedule.* Support project planning & setup, execution, and close-out activities.* Help identify project risks, schedule impacts, and potential issues, and escalate as appropriate.* Assist with customer communications related to project reporting, updates, schedules, and deliverables.* Participate in site visits and customer meetings as required.* Support continuous improvement initiatives and the development of project management best practices.* Prepare and deliver project presentations to support internal and customer communication.* Conduct MAR (Material-Availability-Report) analysis to support project reporting.* Commit to continuous learning through training, mentoring, and skill development initiatives.* Support teammates while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.* Assist in responding to RFPs and contribute to proposal development as needed.* Support contract, change, and interface management activities throughout project execution.* Ensure proper storage and organization of project files, drawings, and records throughout the project lifecycle.* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.**WHAT YOU BRING*** Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.* 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or a related environment.* Strong organizational and time-management skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.* Willingness to travel up to 15-20% throughout Canada for project meetings, customer visits, and site support as required.**WHAT SETS YOU APART*** Experience supporting construction, engineering, industrial, energy, power, oil & gas, mining manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.* Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Autodesk, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.* Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.* PMP, CAPM certification or project management coursework.* Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.* Exposure to Lean, Continuous Improvement, or process optimization initiatives.* Familiarity with contracting models such as EPC, Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Time & Material.* Awareness of safety procedures and regulatory compliance requirements in construction or industrial environments.**WHAT WE OFFER****Build A Better Career*** Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives* Career development programs and internal promotion pathways - we build from within* Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities**Build A Better Future*** Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage* Retirement savings plans with company match* Life insurance and disability coverage**Build A Better You*** Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable* Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resources* Inclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one another**Build A Better World**Join a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.**COMPENSATION**The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 annually, based on experience.
