In this role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall preservation of the company's buildings, grounds, and site services – including landscaping, snow removal, lawn maintenance, employee and furniture moves, painting, plumbing, and small to medium size capital renovation projects – along with other facility projects and tasks as assigned by our internal customers.**WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN*** Travel from site to site; inspect facilities, buildings, and grounds for routine maintenance and cleanliness; prioritize repairs and renovations* Prioritize and respond to facility requests; respond to inquiries in a timely and courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner* Monitor and maintain operation of all utility systems, including plumbing, storm drain, fire protection systems, elevators, HVAC, lighting, etc.* Monitor and coordinate site janitorial services* Plan and oversee landscaping and complete grounds maintenance activities, including maintenance of parking lots and sidewalks, lawn maintenance, and removal of snow/ice and trash* Monitor and maintain site agricultural and pond services, pest control, etc.* Requisition building maintenance supplies, material, and equipment; monitor inventory; load and unload supplies, materials, and equipment* Coordinate and assist with people and furniture relocations or installations* Coordinate load and delivery of tables and chairs to support special events* Scope, source, and manage renovation projects within existing facilities cohesively and efficiently by working with operations, safety, environmental, quality, accounting, sourcing, and/or any other internal and external project stakeholders**WHAT YOU BRING*** Associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Construction Engineering; other technical degrees may be considered with applicable experience* 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing and/or corporate office environment* Ability to read, interpret, and create drawings, specifications, and other information required to support design and development of construction documentation from concept through full implementation of a project* General knowledge of national and local building codes, Environmental, OSHA, and/or application of codes governed by other localities* Experience working with outside contractors, including the competitive bid process, responding to RFIs, issuing addendums, processing change orders, tracking cost, and any related tasks required by the process* Basic knowledge in Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical engineering disciplines, given the broad nature of Facility Engineering projects* Strong skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project or related project management software* Exceptional organization and communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to work effectively independently or with others in teams* Customer-focused mentality and demeanor; detail oriented with strong follow-up* Ability to work or be on call outside normal working days/hours to support facility/plant emergencies when required* Ability to travel locally between company facilities**WHAT SETS YOU APART*** Working knowledge of the building process and construction principles* Experience with and managing work order systems**WHAT WE OFFER****Build A Better Career*** Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives* Career development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from within* Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities**Build A Better Future*** Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage* Retirement savings plan (401K) with company match* Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance**Build A Better You*** Paid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicable* Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and wellness resources* Inclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one another**Build A Better World**Join a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.**COMPENSATION***The base salary range for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
