Job summary

NWN is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support sales orders and forecasting across a national US territory. You will collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales, finance and service delivery to ensure accurate quoting and timely orders using SalesForce and related tools.

Remote role with occasional travel as needed. Strong communication, problem solving and project management skills are required, plus experience with Salesforce and ERP tools such as NetSuite, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years’ experience in the IT industry.
• Sales DNA and ability to impact Sales Velocity.
• Experience with forecasting and quoting in Sales/Pre-sales.
• Knowledge of NWN Opportunity to Cash process.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• OEM partner experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sales cycles and commissions.
• Knowledge of how Account Executives are motivated and comfortable working with Account Executives.
• Project management skills preferred.
• Time and priority management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sales orders and opportunity management in SalesForce.
• Support territory forecasting for executive reports.
• Review weekly Salesforce reports for updated territory deals.
• Assist Sales/Pre-sales with Salesforce reporting.
• Coordinate with Sales Support – Business Operations to compile required documents for order initiation.
• Work with OEM/vendor/disti tools to complete registrations for quotes/deals.
• Help upload Vendor SKUs/pricing into SalesForce to aid quoting.
• Interact with sales, presales, finance and service delivery regularly.
• Understand the Order Process and ensure quotes are complete and orders submitted timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
