American Electric Power in Columbus, OH seeks a Sales Operations professional to support the sales team with speed, efficiency and execution. You will learn departmental policies to assist representatives and coordinate with utilities to gather data for sales closures.

You will submit pricing requests, use in-house tools to process usage data, and act as a liaison between sales, billing and finance while pursuing process improvements. Strong Excel and CRM skills are essential.

Competenze

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 1–3 years in related role; energy industry experience desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; CRM experience.
Advanced Excel: write formulas and create pivot tables.
Ability to read/interpret business and technical documents.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Mansioni

Support sales team with policies and procedures for speed and accuracy.
Communicate with utility to collect data for sales completion.
Submit pricing requests and relay to sales team member.
Use in-house tools to submit electric usage requests and analyze usage.
Submit IT requests and liaise between sales, billing and finance.
Submit production support requests and perform status checks.
Assist with contracts, marketing materials and document filing.
Create and interpret Excel spreadsheets; run reports with Excel/PowerBI/PowerApps/Automate.
