We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.
The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Responsibilities include performing roof inspections, preparing estimates, and providing customers with multiple options using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Building strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement to secure sales
- Build rapport & trust with clients
- Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
- Ensure all missed calls/messages are returned promptly - same-day follow-up
- Convert leads to prospects via provided estimates
- Utilize company-provided leads based on performance and availability
- No Door Knocking Required
- Enter lead information into CRM accurately, including notes, and ensure proper tagging
- Research specialty items & source materials prior to estimates
- Present roofing styles & payment options to prospects
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Notify management of customer issues or concerns
- Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns (marketing)
- Implement marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop personal strategies with approval
- Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
- Prepare & execute daily sales plans
- Grow market share and maximize territory performance
- Stay updated on roofing systems, installation requirements, trends, and product availability
- Monitor material pricing & availability due to market changes
- Accurately complete legal documents and contracts
- Develop a personal workflow routine that aligns with SOPs
- Attend weekly and scheduled meetings
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales is a plus
- Professionalism, strong networking, and conversational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong grammar, math skills, and negotiation abilities
- Proven accuracy and safety focus
- Experience with sales tracking and analysis
- Competitive drive and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed
- Ability to learn and manage a CRM effectively
- Intermediate computer/technological skills
- Team-oriented with ability to collaborate interdepartmentally
- Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
- Self-managed with minimal supervision

- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, and move efficiently
