Job summary

Core-Mark, a leading distributor serving the convenience retail industry, seeks a Sales Service Representative in Ocala, FL. You will support strategic sales initiatives regionally, execute the SmartStock program, and build strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will maintain plan-o-gram discipline, handle merchandising duties, and assist the Sales Team in addressing customer needs and concerns. A reliable vehicle and driving flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service, merchandising or sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine with a ledger of customers.
• Execute the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, merchandising).
• Identify and reduce out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Address customer needs promptly and professionally.
• Ensure plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and store compliance.
• Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Collaborate to resolve customer challenges with assistance when needed.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
