Job summary

Core-Mark in the United States is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support strategic sales initiatives in your assigned region. You will work with the Sales Team to execute the SmartStock program, ensure policy compliance, and provide merchandising and sales support to convenience-store customers.

You will build strong customer relationships, handle routine calls, and help identify display opportunities while maintaining fresh, properly labeled products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales role.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation with mileage reimbursement.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed and specific call routine with a ledger of customers.
• Maintain and execute the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, merchandising).
• Identify and reduce out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date codes.
• Address customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensure plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and store compliance.
• Identify display opportunities and maximize display positioning.
• Ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
• Find solutions to customer challenges with assistance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
