The role oversees strategy, budgeting, and market research while driving cross-functional teams. Candidates should have 5+ years of global sales leadership, a business degree or equivalent, and comfort with Japanese and English language requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in sales leading a global team.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related business field, or equivalent experience.
• Japanese business culture understanding.
• Conversational fluent language skills in Japanese and English preferred.
• Excellent oral/written communication, presentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to adapt and be productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of international trade.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develops annual sales and marketing plan, implementation; execution of sales and marketing.
• Recommends sales strategies for improvement.
• Utilizes market research and competitor analyses.
• Provides leadership in joint ventures, affiliations and partnerships.
• Creates and maintains budget.
• Oversees and directs market research.
• Builds, develops and manages the sales and marketing team.
• Develop staff in both technical and professional skills.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Develops annual sales and marketing plan, implementation. execution of sales and marketing
• Will recommend sales strategies for improvement
• Utilizes market research and competitor analyses
• Provides leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnerships
• Will create and maintain budget
• Oversees and directs market research.
• Will build, develop and manage the sales and marketing
• Develop staff in both technical and professional skills
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills, abilities and education/experience required for the General Manager, Sales & Marketing position:
