Job summary

Trillium Staffing seeks an experienced Automotive Sales Manager in Plymouth, MI to grow automotive business, strengthen customer relationships, and pursue new opportunities with OEM and Tier customers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, account management, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience with automotive OEM, Tier 1 or 2 customers.
• Experience with quotations, contracts, pricing, and negotiations.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with automotive customers and serve as a key contact.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop growth strategies for existing accounts.
• Manage quotes, contracts, pricing, and new opportunities from inquiry to launch.
• Negotiate pricing, cost reductions, payment terms, and other commercial terms.
• Analyze profitability, budgets, and ROI to support growth.
• Develop and monitor annual sales goals and mid-term plans.
• Lead customer meetings, reviews, and regular account visits.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, finance, and other teams to meet requirements.
• Support successful launches of new products and programs.
• Address customer concerns related to quality, delivery, pricing, and other issues.
• Coordinate new business approvals and communicate awards with global teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, account management, or a related field
