Job summary

Republic Finance in Greenville, NC is seeking an entry-level Assistant Branch Manager to join a growing financial services team. You will participate in an 18–24 month on-the-job training program that prepares you for Branch Manager responsibilities and a promotion path.

As you learn, you will originate loan opportunities, educate customers on lending options, and support daily branch operations while advancing through internal opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ideal in Business, Finance, Sales or related field.
• 1+ year of customer facing sales experience preferred but not required.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• Must meet background, credit checks and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing; licensing requirements depend on state.
• Relocation for promotion; full relocation package for moves over 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an 18–24 month on‑the‑job training program to prepare for a Branch Manager role.
• Originate new loan business by contacting customers and understanding their needs.
• Educate customers on lending options and help with loan applications.
• Guide customers through application process and payment reminders when needed.
• Assist in evaluating loan applications, risk analysis, credit decisions, and closings.
• Support recruiting, training, and implementing sales plans to meet branch goals.
