Job summary

Farmers Insurance Idaho Summit District in Boise is seeking a driven professional to join the Sales Manager Trainee Program. You’ll build your own business and lead with impact, gaining hands-on experience alongside agency owners and district leaders during a comprehensive training period.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Market Research to understand customer needs and identify business growth opportunities in the Boise, Meridian and Nampa areas.
• Assist with Local Marketing Campaigns, including digital advertising, community events, and referral programs.
• Shadow Successful Agency Owners to gain real-world insight into daily operations, sales strategies, and client retention best practices.
• Generate Leads through prospecting activities such as networking, cold calling, social media outreach, and relationship-building.
• Deliver Consultative Sales Presentations to educate clients on personal, commercial, life, and financial insurance products.
• Track Sales Metrics and Goals using CRM systems and reporting tools to measure progress and identify improvement areas.
• Participate in Weekly Coaching Sessions with district leadership to review performance and receive ongoing mentorship.
• Provide Outstanding Customer Service to develop long-term client relationships built on trust and reliability.
• Stay Informed on Industry Trends and regulatory changes to maintain product knowledge and compliance standards.
