Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior Sales Manager in the United States and Canada to lead market share growth for Crown and other key product lines. You will manage financial performance and day-to-day territory sales activities for each branch, and design, implement sales strategies and programs.

The role requires 5–7 years in the material handling industry, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a valid driver’s license. Demonstrated leadership and sales experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of material handling industry experience, preferably with product sales background.
• Bachelor degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demonstrations.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Prior experience in sales and/or experience with the Company.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for market shares for Crown and other key product lines.
• Manage financial performance and day-to-day territory sales activities for each branch.
• Plan, conduct, and participate in sales meetings.
• Design and implement sales strategies and programs.
• Coordinate activities among managers and ensure proper communication.
• Review and approve sales-related functions as required.
• Maintain direct contact with current and prospective Branch and National Accounts customers.
• Support and oversee the sales group.
• Assist staff with customer calls.
• Assist with daily time, territory, and account management.
• Recruit, select, train, develop, and counsel direct reports.
• Prepare the branch manager's budget.
• Review accounts receivable and ensure payment is received for products provided.
