Job summary

The Michaels Companies store in Oceanside, CA seeks a Full-time Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture and customer-focused operations. You will coach teams, drive selling behaviors, manage POS systems, and oversee programs across departments including balloons, Loyalty, and framing.

You will ensure operational excellence, execute SOPs, and deliver strong omni-channel service while maintaining store standards and asset protection. Weekend and early shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and drive KPIs with customer focus.
• Coach and develop team; enforce SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure accurate POS and Self-Checkout usage and smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, loyalty, and special services).
• Support omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Coordinate with framing, knit & sew shop, and other departments.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain asset protection practices.
