Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Chattanooga, TN to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and drive strong sales and customer experience. You will oversee front-end operations, ensure brand standards, and support KPI achievement through coaching and daily execution.

The role emphasizes customer-focused leadership, training, and partnership in delivering excellent service, while maintaining SOPs and store policies across departments.

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
Ability to meet KPIs and drive sales.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
Oversee store policies, standards, and results.
Coach customers and team to improve experience and conversion.
Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
Ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
Oversee in-store programs like Balloons, parties, and loyalty enrollment.
Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
Support framing operations where applicable.
Train and develop team across departments.
