Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Collierville, TN to lead a high-performing store team, drive sales and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will coach on selling behaviors, oversee front-end operations, POS and Self-Checkout, and manage in-store programs and omnichannel fulfillment.

Responsibilities include employee development, adherence to SOPs, asset protection, and promoting loyalty programs. Nights, weekends, and early mornings required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales results and engaging customers.
• Oversee front-end and service operations, ensuring consistency with brand standards and SOPs.
• Coach team on Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Utilize POS and Self-Checkout systems to support smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, birthday parties, Knit & Sew Shop, etc.) and omni-channel orders (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and Extend protection plans; enroll customers and drive adoption.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
