Job summary

Roof Penetration Housing LLC in San Antonio, TX seeks a Sales Manager to support the Director of Sales, resolve escalations, and coordinate across Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering for roofing, mechanical, and plumbing contractor accounts.

The role is full-time and in-office, with travel up to 15% as needed. A 5+ year background in construction sales and strong communication are required. Competitive salary and discretionary bonus offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing or sales-support role within commercial construction, roofing, building products, mechanical, or plumbing contractor industry.
• Proven ability to de-escalate a frustrated customer and resolve conflict without needing to loop in a manager.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle several open issues at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce, NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact when contractor accounts need an issue resolved quickly and own each issue through to resolution.
• Address cross-department issues (order problems, shipping delays, product or spec questions) with teams to find solutions.
• Identify recurring issues and present fixes to the Director of Sales.
• Take ownership of projects handed off by the Director of Sales.
• Maintain relationships with key end-user accounts to protect relationships after resolution.
• Provide sales-level judgment or contractor knowledge to other teams as needed.
