Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Area Managers and Sales Consultants across a large territory. The role involves developing long- and short-term sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and aligning supplier goals with internal objectives.

You will drive sales execution, coach team members on CRM tools, and build pipelines while coordinating go-to-market plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of management experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits, regions/varietals, product/food pairing techniques.
• Ability to communicate enthusiasm for the product and category.
• Knowledge of products and their key features; ability to execute line strategies.
• Demonstrated understanding of sales execution and territory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Area Managers and Sales Consultants.
• Implement strategic sales plans to achieve company and supplier goals.
• Conduct sales meetings, train and motivate the team to drive success.
• Receive, reconcile and communicate supplier goals and internal objectives.
• Direct sales development activities and coordinate sales territories and quotas.
• Coach staff on CRM usage and pipeline management.
• Travel within territory as needed and support key accounts.
