Job description

Description

Participate in on-the-job training experiences for the Sales Manager role, learn new skills about senior living, and demonstrate increasing proficiency and expertise with sales and marketing responsibilities within the Brookdale organization. The Brookdale Bench Program prepares you to assume the Sales Manager role at one of our communities.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining and improving community occupancy levels according to marketing and business plans.
  2. Utilizing established sales processes, systems, and forms to perform duties, track information, compile data and reports, and achieve occupancy goals.
  3. Managing the sales process by assisting prospective residents and their families, understanding their needs, and educating them about community services and programs.
  4. Responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, internet, or in person, and following up with prospects through calls, letters, and tours.
  5. Completing all activities needed for a sale, converting deposits to move-ins, and conducting assessments or presentations at prospects' homes or healthcare facilities.
  6. Keeping management informed of prospective move-ins and tracking pre-residency steps.
  7. Coordinating with the business development team to meet or exceed lead generation goals, and managing relationships with local referral sources.
  8. Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, families, and professional referral sources, and conducting presentations about community services.
  9. Managing community inventory, increasing revenue streams, and representing the community in outside events and community involvement activities.
  10. Partnering with management to develop marketing plans, researching content for promotional materials, and monitoring sales performance metrics.
  11. Maintaining knowledge of lead management systems and ensuring timely input of sales activities.
