SALES MANAGER Agriculture based in Amersfoort / Zoetermeer or Remote in Netherlands

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A driven Agri-professional who is eager to learn and has a good sense of humor. The development of precision agriculture has played an important role in sustainable and efficient food production over the past decades. In this position, you will play a significant role in the field of agrotechnology. Preferably, you bring a strong network within the agribusiness. You also don't mind travelling within the Netherlands and occasionally internationally.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Sales Manager for Precision Agriculture, you will be part of the growing and ambitious sales team and will be specifically responsible for the sale of our precision agriculture solutions in the Netherlands. The segment focuses on increased productivity in agriculture where we aim to work with the highest possible accuracy. With the help of Topcon systems, customers get more relevant information to make the right decisions. Using GNSS and correction signals, our solutions enable (semi) automatic control of tools and machines.

  • You will create long-term relationships within the existing network and expand the customer and dealer portfolio by regularly visiting them.
  • It is your task to advise customers and dealers in the right way to close the deal.
  • As a customer manager, you also manage the delivery of products and services to the customer. Together with colleagues, you realize the implementation and ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Of course, you ensure transparent reporting regarding forecasts and budgets.
  • You will also contribute to the marketing policy by initiating and executing various activities. This way, we become even more visible to our customers. Your ultimate goal is to maximize Topcon's market share and brand awareness.
  • You will travel for business purpose at least 80% in the assigned regions.

Your profile:

You are enterprising, proactive, and able to maintain contacts with various stakeholders at different levels. You are result-driven and have an eye for commerce. You have a high analytical ability and easily understand processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • HBO thinking and working level
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in agribusiness
  • Affinity with technology and agricultural (machines)
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English (mandatory)
  • Good organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • LOCATION : Amersfoort/ Zoetermeer or Home-office, Netherlands
