Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead sales activities for production parts, including customer management, pricing negotiations, sales forecasting, budget planning, order placement, and follow-up.
• Monitor and analyze sales KPIs, actual results, projected sales volumes, and departmental performance to achieve annual objectives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Purchasing, Machining, Assembly, Production Control, suppliers, and headquarters to support mass production and resolve issues.
• Oversee production part inventory, purchase orders, pricing records, scheduling agreements, and AR follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations and maintain necessary traceability documentation.
• Lead and develop team members and support PPAP and engineering changes.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead sales operations for a manufacturing organization in West Point, Georgia. This role oversees customer relationships, pricing negotiations, sales forecasting, KPI performance, production part inventory, and coordination with internal departments and suppliers to support efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills who can drive customer satisfaction, improve profitability, and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales activities for production parts, including customer management, pricing negotiations, sales forecasting, budget planning, order placement, and follow-up.
• Monitor and analyze sales KPIs, actual results, projected sales volumes, and departmental performance to achieve annual business objectives.
• Manage customer requirements, resolve business issues, coordinate supply needs, and address part shortages, delivery delays, and contract concerns.
• Oversee production part inventory, purchase orders, material pricing records, scheduling agreements, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing, Machining, Assembly, Production Control, suppliers, and headquarters to support mass production and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations and maintain country-of-origin documentation, including preparation of USMCA/NAFTA traceability information.
• Lead and develop team members, manage departmental resources, support PPAP and engineering change processes, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales-related experience required, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year degree is also listed in the job posting. A master's degree in business, management, or engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and experience with sales systems in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and respond effectively to customer inquiries and business issues.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to interpret business data, monitor KPIs, and prepare reports for management.
• Excellent verbal communication, listening, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; SAP and MES experience preferred. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed and travel domestically or internationally when required.

Compensation:

($100k - $110k) Based on experience.
