Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Springfield, VA seeks an experienced service manager to lead and support its growing water restoration team. You will drive branch profitability, oversee safety, and coach field technicians to deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities include achieving sales quotas, recruiting and developing teams, coordinating with the general manager, and ensuring OSHA compliance while delivering hands-on training and customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• 3–5 years of sales management experience.
• Experience in service industry is strongly desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• P&L management experience preferred but not required.
• Self-starter, organized and detail-oriented in a bustling environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the branch water restoration department for profitability and safety.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas.
• Recruit and maintain water restoration teams with the hiring manager.
• Manage resources for water restoration sales and service teams.
• Monitor performance and provide ongoing field sales training.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support as needed.

• Oversee the branch’s water restoration department and ensure it is operating profitably and safely.
• Ensure monthly and annual sales quotas are achieved.
• Work closely with the hiring manager to recruit and maintain water restoration teams.
• Manage time, material, equipment, and technician resources for water restoration sales and service teams.
• Monitor teams to ensure they are meeting performance standards.
• Provide ongoing field sales and education training.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support wherever needed.

• Direct interaction with vulnerable populations such as children or elderly.
• Extensive driving to customer in a timely and professional manner.
• Entering customers’ residence providing trustworthy service while solving the problem.

What you need to succeed:
