• Oversee used vehicle inventory (retail and wholesale).
• Review pricing and escalate when needed.
• Review sales consultants monthly and track performance.
• Generate and review performance reports.
• Reinforce company policies and participate in manager meetings.

Job Description:

Red Rock Ford of Dickinson, located in Dickinson, ND,is currently hiring an Automotive Sales Manager to join our growing family-owned dealer group. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the pre-owned vehicle sales department which includes inventory management, sales performance results, employee supervision, training, and customer satisfaction in the pre-owned and new vehicle sales department. Only individuals with Automotive Sales or Management experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for improving sales and operations which requires a willingness to change with the evolving nature of the car business


• Able to function effectively with various automotive software programs


• Maintains high customer satisfaction


• Assists sales team with processing or completing sales


• Trains and Supervises sales team


• Sets schedules and motivates sales team


• Oversees used vehicle inventory, including both retail and wholesale units


• Responsible for vehicle pricing


• Review sales consultants monthly


• Track Performance

• Reinforces company policies and adheres to policies


• Attends manager meetings

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills as specifically pertains to the automotive digital programs


• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor


• Proven track record of successful selling


• Team Oriented and able to build a feeling of teamwork on the sales floor


• Valid Driver’s License
