Job summary

Custom Interiors Carpet One in Hutchinson, MN seeks an experienced Sales Manager to lead flooring and kitchen & bath design teams. You will drive showroom performance, coach a sales team, manage operations, and close sales with clients.

The role offers a full-time schedule, paid training, benefits, and opportunities for growth. You will work with a hands-on leader who values exceptional client experiences and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ consecutive years' proven work experience as a Flooring Retail Manager, Home Improvement Sales Manager, Kitchen & Bath Showroom Manager, Design Sales Manager, or similar role
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
• Able to pass a background check (REQUIRED)
• Knowledge of Flooring and Kitchen & Bath industry highly desired
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & CRM platforms
• Leadership skills & ability to delegate effectively

• Partner with ownership to drive showroom performance, profitability and strategic growth.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team through accountability and continuous development.
• Oversee daily showroom operations, staffing, merchandising and sales performance.
• Align sales, operations and inventory to ensure exceptional project execution.
• Set the standard for the sales team by actively engaging with clients, providing product recommendations, taking measurements, and confidently closing sales.
• Build lasting relationships with customers, vendors, installers, and referral partners.

• Improve operational efficiency by optimizing processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Resolve complex customer and project issues with professionalism and solutions-focused approach.
• Maintain exceptional showroom standards that reflect the brand and customer experience.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ consecutive years' proven work experience as a Flooring Retail Manager, Home Improvement Sales Manager, Kitchen & Bath Showroom Manager, Design Sales Manager, or similar role
